Bartco Rentals is a great place to rent from. They are quick to respond when you leave them a message. They are on time when they say they will be there to meet you or fix whatever needs fixing. The apartments are clean and have great upkeep. So worth the extra few dollars to rent with them when I know if I have a problem, it will be taken care of and I won’t be ignored.

Best landlord I've had. Very helpful and honest. BartCo always answers my calls and has been able to fix anything in my apartment.

Steve and Deb are very honest, hard working landlords hustling to meet your needs and make you happy. They have established great boundaries so everyone that rents from them fully understands the building and ground rules and consequences for not following all rental agreements. I appreciated the quiet surroundings, simple, clean, well heated living quarters, and the great communications prior to snow removal or other apartment maintenance. I rented from them for two years and will rent again if I ever need to.

A very quiet well maintain building. I moved in 5 years ago when Steve and his wife 1st bought it. Being a gal I was glad background checks were required. Once in a while a problem renter got in but they were evicted quickly.
Great neighbors. Stuff was fixed almost alway within hours of tellingthem. Sadley had to move after being laid off.

I lived at Hillside before Bartco bought it. The improvements through the years have been incredible. LOVE IT!

Extremely user friendly! They run a tight ship. I lived there at Hillside for 5 years. Repair requests are wanted in writing so they can't forget. Repairs are done within 24-48 hours. RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Never any major problems periodically, problem neighbors would move in, but they are quickly voted off the island. Steve was able to rent my apartment early. I got a refund on rent, my entire deposit and interest. THANK YOU! I would have stayed except for my job transfer.

I'm a long time tenant. The place gets better and better for quality of neighbors and apartments. The landlords treat their tenants with a lot of respect.

awful came into my apartment when I wasn't home used my towels to clean up my over flowing toilet blamed me charged my heavy fees for a overflowing toilet charged my mom and grand a who lived in separate apartment

Pretty decent place to live. Sadly no garage or outdoor storage place. No central air as its an older building. Everything is repaired on a timely basis. Very clean. Pretty good neighbors I just wanted a spa, and the amenities bigger newer places offer.
