Christine Eady, D.O., a Leander resident, could not be happier about the chance to practice in the community she has called home for more than a decade. Dr. Eady brings a wealth of experience to Northwest Diagnostic Clinic, gained through running her own practice for the past 11 years in Round Rock. She said “It might seem like an unusual move to join a clinic with five practitioners after operating a single-doctor private practice. I would rather take care of patients instead of spending all of my time trying to deal with insurance and other administrative duties. When you own a single-doctor private practice, your time is consumed with running the business, not doing what you love -- which is taking care of patients." Dr. Eady's goals are to get back to being focused on family care and making sure all of her time and energy are geared towards the best care possible for her patients. "My Leander patients and friends are all very happy I have moved home to practice," Eady said. For those who do not already know her, Eady offers a full range of services as a family practitioner, caring for all ages from newborns to senior citizens. Dr. Eady is also very proud of her own family, and will enjoy being in the neighborhood so she can attend more of her children's school and extracurricular activities. Her son, Taylor, a seventh grader at Running Brushy Middle School, was glad to see her in the stands at his recent track meet. Dr. Eady's youngest, son Ty, is a 10-year-old and works out at Hi-Tech Gymnastics right in their neighborhood. Her oldest daughter, Taryn, just started at the Art Institute and is a Leander High School graduate. Her husband, Travis, is a professor at TCU in Ft. Worth. He divides his time between his home in Leander and his home away from home in North Texas, is a professor at TCU in Ft. Worth.
