Twice Shalom Auto has saved me almost $1000 on car repairs. The first time by letting me know what I was about to have them fix was expensive and probably still covered under the extended warranty on my slightly older car and the second time by calling me before making an expensive repair to air conditioning on an old van. (It wasn't worth spending the money to fix.) Both times they refused payment, telling me just to remember them next time. Now we're moving 4 hours away and there will be no next time. I feel like I still *owe* them. So I'll write this review -- maybe someone else needing a good honest mechanic will see this, use them, and in that way my debt is repaid. :-)
