Iberia Elementary offers academic classes to students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, art, foreign languages, reading, writing, social studies, English, computer applications and physical education. The school is comprised of more than 35 teachers, speech therapists, instructional assistants, counselors, special education instructors and Title 1 aides. Iberia Elementary operates a library that offers a collection of books on various topics and serves a lunch menu to students. It is a part of Iberia R-V School District, which governs an elementary and high school. Iberia R-V School District operates a parent-teacher organization that works to strengthen enrollment and improve retention, raise financial support and provide community service.
