East Idaho Fence and Deck is a wonderful company. They were fast, friendly, and did superior work. I'm very pleased with the job they did for me. I highly recommend them.

We had an extremely bad experience with East Idaho Fence and Deck. (Similar to another review already posted on google where this company?s response was to make her look in the wrong!) I would highly recommend NOT using them. We did not get what we originally ordered and when we came home to see it, they were not willing to fix it unless we paid an additional $600. This is after we already paid $500 extra to get the work done that month. I?m not someone who writes bad reviews (actually I have never written a bad review,) but if you chose to use this company and something goes wrong, (which sometimes is bound to happen when it comes to construction) they will not take ANY responsibility and you will be at the mercy of your contractor. We had several contractors and even a lawyer tell us we should take them to small claims because we had total proof that what we originally ordered was NOT what they put up. However, we will do everything possible to not sue people. It?s unfortunate that someone must sue in order to be treated with honesty and integrity. We still ended up paying $300 EXTRA for a fence that we did not order or want, and was not installed by the day he told us it would be done. His argument has been that he put up what is written in the contract. However, he hand writes his contracts and they look like doctors prescriptions. In all the text messages between us, I ordered something totally different from what he wrote in the contract. He also wouldn?t send the estimate to us before hand, which I asked for several times. He waited until I was ready to write a check to even make out the contract. He also conveniently did not include a finish date (which is what we paid $500 extra for!) He ended up finishing 4 days later then what we agreed on. He threatened us, sent me a TERRIBLY RUDE text at 3 AM IN THE MORNING, and tried to manipulate us into paying an extra $200. We have paid him almost $7,000 and this is NOT how you treat a client who hires you for your services. We are currently looking for a new company that can come and fix their mistake!

These guys were fast and the work they do is top notch ! I would recommend them to any of my friends and family,
