Dried out meat. Any orders to go are half the size at the same price. Even when tipping well. Get your stuff home and dressing and sides aren't there. Very frustrating. Won't be there ever again. There famous bread pudding is rubber and they forget all the toppings.

After a bad experience at a restaurant across the street we walked into Famous Daves and immediately was greeted by a cheery young man that tried to visit, share company with us. His efforts were admirable. With experience I think he could really find the way to enjoy everyone's company. Our waitress Famous Vicoria was just awesome. Fast and happy service. So friendly but not too friendly which allowed us time to visit while we were eating. Food is absolutely delicous. The atmosphere is light and happy. A wonderful place to eat bbq.

Normally love the food at other Famous Dave's locations, but first visit to FD in Idaho Falls left us disgusted. Texas beef brisket on all 3 entrees ordered was rubbery and tasteless. When we realized we were all spitting out our food we agreed it was inedible. It took an hour to get exactly 4 ribs as a substitute and tried to order more cornbread, but repeatedly told it was in the oven for an hour. We left after 1-1/2 hours still hungry. Then to top it all off, the bill overcharged us $1 to $2 for each entree according to the listed menu prices, but the server never ever returned so we could question it. Worst brisket ever could've been a rare occurance, but the service, or lack of, was inexcusable. Will NEVER go back even if you paid me.

Awesome bbq, great cornbread and atmosphere. A little expensive which will limit us but we will return when we can.

What a surprise to dine at this great restaurant. We had to order more baby back ribs as they were incredible. Best we've ever tasted anywhere. Customer service was top notch and at end of meal the manager dropped by and gave us a free bottle of their Rich & Sassy BBQ sauce which we were also raving about. Our young sons loved Wilber their mascot pig who walked around and greeted everyone. Great family atmosphere. We wish they had locations in Southern CA. We will definately come again next time we're passing through.

It's really good food, and their huge portions will fill you up. The building and decor are fun too. The service is enthusiastic, and very informative with helpful suggestions. The only downside is that I found it to be a bit on the expensive side, but in the end I felt it was worth it for great food and overall experience.
