Established in 1948, The Maurice B. Shwayder Camp of Congregation Emanuel is a summer camp that offers a range of recreational services. It focuses on the development and promotion of Jewish culture. The camp houses a stable and has more than 25 horses. It conducts various activities, including horseback riding, softball, football, basketball, archery, volleyball, Frisbee, tetherball, aerobics, hiking and climbing. The camp also offers music, drama, photography, art and crafts and videography sessions. Additionally, it conducts guitar, dancing and creative writing classes. Its facility houses a 40-foot high ropes challenge course. The Maurice B. Shwayder Camp of Congregation Emanuel also provides food services for students.
