We love this place! My wife and I have stopped in here several times recently at the end of a day spent in the mountains before we head back to Denver. The nachos with added bison meat are a perfect apres "day in the mountains"-hiking, skiing, you name it. The beer is brewed on site, and fabulous. My wife doesn't even like beer, but she likes Tommyknocker's beer. Our last visit, though, was very special. Somehow both my wife and I left our wallets at home (there really is a first for everything) and only realized this as we parked the car and were heading in to T's. We were hungry- what are we going to do? Fortunately my wife found a $20 in a pocket, but that's still not quite enough to get a couple beers and the almighty nachos (and leave a decent tip). We spoke to managers JT and Danielle about the situation. JT promptly loaned us some cash, his personal money! We enjoyed our nachos and beers, and will be dropping back in soon to repay JT with interest. The service has always been friendly and good and the food satisfying, prepared with quality ingrediants. Tommyknockers is a must if passing through Idaho Springs!

I couldnt find a place here to find out if there was live music at Tommyknockers?

Would like to know what kind of music the single musician played? And was he/she good?

Just wanted to find out. There was a guy 20 yrs ago named Dolomite. Didnt know if hes still playing in the area?

There was another guy from Alabama or Atlanta that played there also, He played every one of my wifes favorite songs.

Can anyone answer these questions?
