Absolutley terrible! I will never trust my animals in this vets care ever again. I had called to make an appointment to get my 7 month old pup neutered. When I called I let the receptionist know that his testicles were undecended. I asked if there was an extra fee and she said it was small and around $20. Since I was happy with the he price I booked the appointment. I dropped my cutie off at 8am the day of the appointment and at 8:15 I received a call from the vet. He explained that my dog was already under ansthetic but he had just realized his testes were inside him. I explained how I already told the receptionist and she said it was a small fee. He Then told me this was an extra $100 fee and since he was already under anthestetic we had to continue with the procedure. Since I didn't have a choice I agreed. Already upset about what had happened I went to pick up my dog the next morning and that's when I got really mad. Not only did the lie about the price, but my pup was COVERED in FLEAS! Then I examined his surgical wound and the stitches were crooked and just terrible. Two days later he got an infection in the wound. I don't know who stichted up my pup, or if they were sanitary at all. I will never take any animal to their care again. My poor little guy will have an ugly scar on his stomach for his whole life. Terrible service.

There are not words to describe this office, it's staff, or Dr. Barta. They are ALL amazing people who go above and beyond for animals and their owners. When we moved, making a 45 minute trip one way, I was heartbroken. But now, we just schedule a little more in advance to make it work and make the drive. When you treat your pets like family, this is the place for you!! 5 stars are not enough

Words cannot describe how amazing of a Vet Dr. Barta is. I have a litter of puppies who got pneumonia and were going downhill fast. I took them to 4 different Vets in Tulsa, OK including an ER Vet, spent about $2000 and found no relief for my puppies, they were getting worse at a rapid rate. A woman recommended Dr. Barta to me and said that he would be able to save my puppies. So, I made the drive from Tulsa to Independence Kansas where Dr. Barta saw my puppies. Not only did he provide outstanding care for my puppies, but he genuinely cared, and it was apparent to me that this Vet is one you don't come across often. Veterinarians as extraordinary as this Dr are few and far between. He not only has helped my puppies, but he did so at a price that was significantly lower than any of my local Vets. I highly recommend him!

My best friend was with me today when we brought my beloved 13 1/2 yr old German Shepherd in to be euthanized. The gentle and caring manner of Dr Barta at such a

difficult time was beyond words. He is cremating her and I know will take good care

of her. Dr Barta's kindness and thoughtful words were such a comfort to us. He made such an impresssion that I recommend Dr Barta to everyone. Now I know why

his parking lot is busy all the time....word has gotten out!

Dr. Barta is a top notch Vet, he runs a VERY CLEAN clinic and provides the very best in Veterinary care.

His standards are of the best you will find for small animal care and treatment, and he is a friendly, caring, and knowledgable Vet. One of the Best you will find!
