About 8 years ago Lee's Cooling & Heating Co. Inc installed a mini split system at my house. They did a decent job of installing it. This year the system started giving me problems. I called Lee’s to work on it since they installed it. It took them four visits and two refrigerant evacuations and refills to supposedly fix it. The unit is still not working correctly. The repairman did not seem to have any clue how to trouble shoot the system and immediately called tech support. Fujitsu’s tech support is apparently very slow to answer which caused the repairman to have to hold a long time then recall several times after the call dropped at my house. Granted, Fujitsu’s tech support availability is not Lee’s fault, but after the unit failed again with in a week of Lee’s repairman’s fourth visit, I decided to call Fujitsu’s tech support and do the on-hold time myself. One of the first things Fujitsu’s tech support number suggests is downloading their trouble shooting application. So, I did, it was very easy to use even for a HVAC novice like me. It looks like Lee’s repairman wasted a bunch of my time and money by not taking advantage of the tool Fujitsu provided. I called Lee’s and told the repairman’s supervisor about the app and asked why the repairman did not utilize it, he said he would ask him and get back to me. That never happened.
