Provided by YPmobileTerrible customer service. Called in advance to ask if they could do staple removal. "They weren't sure". Ok....Do you accept my insurance? Don't know that either. We come in, ask how much copay would be? They don't know.... filled out all medical history, personal information....left my grandmother there. She calls me a few minutes later, they do not accept her insurance. As I complain about their process and say that I'm going to leave a bad review, I was met with attitude and sarcasm by the front desk employee. Ridiculous! I have no problem taking my business elsewhere. That explains why we were the only ones there!

Provided by YP.comThey say we treat all patients like family... I guess they'll even rob their own family! They charged me a $75 co-pay when none was needed and now they won't pay it back! They never return phone calls, all they do is say we'll get back you. Don't use this business!

Provided by YP.comI could not break an asthma attack. I could not get in to see a doctor unroll another 24 hrs. I went to this urgent care and received wonderful and quick treatment. Instead of waiting 2 hrs just to be seen in the E.R. I was seen within minutes. Within 15 minutes of being seen I had a chest x-Ray, nebulizer treatment, and was given injections of an anti-biotic and cortisone. I definitely recommend this urgent care.

Provided by YP.comI was on vacation and desperately needed to see a doctor. after searching YP for a close one I got to Independence urgent care just after 3pm today and was out within 20 minutes. The staff was super nice and the doctor was great. I think I spent more time with the doctor than sitting in the waiting room (which is nice and clean). The doctor was very professional and spend good time asking questions about my problem. He prescribed me some medicines which I filled out from the near pharmacy.I started the medicines and I felt better ( especially after using the nasal spray) I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing urgent care (whether you're on vacation like me or live in the area).

Provided by YP.comVERY SATISFIED! I went to Independence urgent care on my lunch break and was literally in, out and back at work in 45 minutes. All employees from the front desk staff, to the MAs to the doctor were friendly and professional. I had earache for 2 days and the doctor noticed that I had a lot of wax in the ear canal. I received ear flush to clean the ear on the spot as well as I received prescriptions. I would highly recommend this clinic to my co-workers, family and friends. I will definitely return in the future should I require medical attention again.

Provided by YP.comI live in LA and recently visited my in-laws in Independence and got into trouble and got asthma attack. I used my inhaler many times but still had wheezing and coughing so bad. it was a Sunday and I found this clinic I think it was the only one open. they saw me very quickly and the doctor rushed in really fast saw I was wheezing and started me on nebulizer and the nurse gave me a steroid shot . Wow it was excellent. . after almost half an hour I was feeling much better and I was able to go home. the experience with this clinic was so good that I had to write this even though I don't live in Independence. the doctor was so professional and nice, kept on checking on me and listening to my lungs and was very gentle, he made sure I got all of my medications before I was ready to leave and all of this was covered by my insurance with small copay. thank God I found them and didn't have to go to the ER where I have to wait many hours and pay a copy if $100..... you guys are luck to have this clinic in Independence, KY.

Provided by YP.comMy daughter required a special sports physical to join the team at his new school. I called Independence urgent care office to make sure of office hours and even though we tried to be there in plenty of time our afternoon slipped away and we did not get to Independence urgent care until 10 minutes before it closed. I thought for sure we would get snotty attitudes and a sloppy physical but completely the opposite. The entire staff was pleasant, even though we were late, I just could not believe it. The whole experience was a pleasant one and I will continue to bring my children to this place and recommend it to everyone.

Provided by YP.comI had a horrible sinus infection and knew that I couldn't wait until Monday to see my regular doctor, so I went on a Saturday morning to the Independence Urgent Care. The receptionist, nurse, and doctor were all very nice and attentive. I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes with my prescriptions. I would definitely recommend Independence Urgent Care to my family and friends!

Provided by YP.comII went recently to this new urgent care in Independence. I had a severe allergic reaction after a bee sting. I had a bee sting reaction before and I was able to ( shake it up) with some over the counter Benadryl, but this time it was really horrible, may be because it was in my neck. I started to feel very hot and my face start to get swollen I drove to the urgent care and the doctor there gave me epipen shot, I was sweating like crazy and my throat start to close before the medicine kicked in and the sweating stopped. It was a great relief after getting the epipen.
The doctor prescribed an Epipen to keep with me for any possible future reaction. It is really a life saving drug and worth the high price of $200 . I recommend this urgent care for everyone fast service and great staff. I went recently to this new urgent care in Independence. I had a severe allergic reaction after a bee sting. Provided by YP.comI feel the need to tell about a degrading incodent that occured yesterday. I had a very severe alleric reation after accidently eating peas (so severe that I could actually die). My husband, Joe came home from work to take me to INDEPENCE URGENT CARE in Independence, KY. The office fee was $95...sure, we'll pay that (no insurance).... I was barely breathing at the time. They made Joe leave me in the waiting room-NOT BREATHING and scared - to go to the bank to get the $95. They called me up to the desk and asked for the $95 AGAIN when he was already on his way to the bank! After 12 MINUTES, some one finally asked me if I was having difficulty breathing. I whispered yes, shaking my head, barely breathing. (My oxygen level was 66%) The doctor saw me right away and shot me with an epipen. Joe had returned by then but they were literally holding the shot of steriods in their hands until we paid the $210 for the shots. I understand they have issues not collecting money from patients - not my problem. Joe (who is a ... a degrading incodent that occured yesterday. I understand they have issues not collecting money from patients - not my problem. Joe (who is a teacher with low income) asked if we could do some sort of a payment plan. The nurse became extremely rude saying they just can't do it. Finally after a few minutes, the doctor said, "get what you can from them and we will bill the rest." This place is only in it for the money and don't give a sh*t about people. Thankfully, I am alive to write this review and to be here for my husband and 3 beautiful children. I HOPE SOMEONE THAT HAS A LIFE THREATENING ISSUE DOESN'T GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!
