Fire Prairie Middle School, part of the Fort Osage R-1 School District, provides a wide variety of academic programs to students in grades five through eight. The school offers classes in various programs, such as technology education, vocal music, foreign languages, industrial technology, business studies, fine arts, economics, mathematics, English, and American and world history. It provides various clubs, including jogging, chess, art, choir, band, techno, drama, book and broadcasting. The school s library offers a range of printed books and magazines, and online encyclopedias and a large research database. It has an athletics department providing a variety of activities, such as football, tennis, volleyball, soccer, softball, cross country and golf.
