This company is Nothing but first class. Better than all the rest! I cannot say enough good things about this company Tom McDermott and his employees. Careful attention to detail I can go on and on!

Great job moving us. Damage free and protected and wrapped everything as needed. Toke extra time to protect handrails.

Bob McDermott and his team have moved my family and company a total of five times. Every move has been just as planned and promised. On time, careful with our furniture, fair price. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about the move. Bob's staff is courteous; you can tell they have worked together for a long time. I would recommend them to anyone.

McDermott did an amazing job of moving our nonprofit HQ. True professionals from start to finish. Good price. Worked under difficult conditions (including a nonworking elevator). Treated both us (the customer) and each other with the utmost professionalism. Highest recommendation!

The best experience I could have imagined. This was NOT an easy move. My things were stored in a basement WITHOUT access to a walkout. Everything went down the stairs.The crew was courteous, efficient and very careful with my belongings. I can't say enough about the company-from the time I scheduled to the time the job was completed.

I have used several movers over the years. Mr. McDermott has set a bar above the others.

Anytime I've contacted him, either he's answered or he's gotten back to me within minutes.

His employees are empowered to make sure the customer is satisfied. These guys won't leave until the job has been done to my satisfaction.

They communicate with each other so that I don't have to babysit! Every detail that Mr. McDermott hears, his employees know.

These guys are on the ball.

Moving stresses me out. I hate it. HATE. My movers made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. They made sure I knew if there was anything already broken or in disrepair. (I already knew, but this tells me they take responsibility if they've inadvertently damaged anything), that's the kind of honesty that's not seen anymore.

What a professional company. The work ethic speaks for itself and I'm pleased that I'm able to finally write a review here. I'm more than satisfied. Please consider this company.

I highly recommend this company to anyone needing to move. They are friendly, professional, courteous, and kind. They are WONDERFUL! I would use them again in a heartbeat. They work very hard to meet every need. They were there for me on two different occasions when I needed to help my mother by getting her things moved. They provided outstanding and excellent service. I will never use anyone else AGAIN!!! This company is FANTASTIC!!!! I have used Two Men and a Truck, I have used Apartment Movers, I have used a whole bunch of family with a U-Haul truck - nothing even comes to close to how happy I was with McDermott. The 3-man crew moved my entire family of 4 and all of our belongings in 3 hours flat. Completely friendly, astonishingly efficient and organized. I can't say enough good things about them. I hope I don't ever have to move again, but if I do, I know I'll call McDermott. You can bet I'll use them to move my new piano for me next spring. Thanks guys - you're all amazing!!!!

I used McDermott for a recent residential move. I was totally pleased. They are prompt, polite, fast, get down to business guys. The move took 2-3 hours less than I had expected and I was quite pleased with that!

These guys were great! They showed up on time ready to work. The 3 man crew worked fast and handled all of our furniture with great care. They also arranged our furniture the way we wanted. Most importantly, they are local and courteous, which was very refreshing after a previous bad experience with a national company. I would recommend McDermott to anyone in the KC area!

Mr. McDermott was very courteous, I contacted him from Naples, FL to help my son move out of his Kansas City apartment due to an emergency leak and water damage, he was willing to come within a couple of hours. We set up the move for the next day, all went really well! Thank you Mike and the crew!

The movers were very efficient! Very impressed with the job they did. We moved our mom from a house to an apartment. Even the residents were impressed with how polite the movers were. We definitely will use them again.

This is the best moving company you could ever move with. They were on time, very polite and courteous, moved quickly BUT carefully, did not damage anything or any walls. They even set everything up (beds, mirrors, etc) and if I didn't like where I originally told them to place something, they had NO problem moving it again for me. Before they left, they ask if there was anything else I wanted them to do. WOW, I could not say enough good things about this company. AND the price was the BEST that I found. Thank you so much for making my move so wonderful and smooth.

They arrived right when they said they would. Were very polite and very careful with our furniture. Had the truck loaded and unloaded in less than 5 hours and that included 30 minutes drive time. I would highly reccomend these movers!
