Misty River is a great place to learn and ride. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider. The instructors are certified and knowledgeable. The barn has beautiful sunsets and trails too.

Our family (from young to adults) enjoyed our experience at Misty River Equestrian Center very much. There are programs for all ages with experienced instructors and many fun activities. The owner even greeted us, making us feel very welcome, and gave us a tour of this beautiful facility. We will definitely be enrolling in more programs.

Misty River has a very good lesson program. They have an excellent string of of very gentle school horses. Their lesson program not only teaches about riding but also horse safety which I think is a good thing. I think the instructors also do a great job. The barn itself is nicely located with a lot of room to go riding with out having to haul out which is nice if you are a busy person. Their Boy and Girl Scout program is also very good. Not only do they have a place for the scouts to learn riding skills but they also have a beautiful camp site to pitch tents with a stocked pond to fish out of. It makes it a great place to do an over night weekend camp outs. During the day the scouts learn horsemanship for their badge and then the pond camp site is within walking distance so it is a very nice weekend to do things for scouts.
