I am very disappointed with The Independence Post Office. They are lazy and do not care about delivering the mail in the Independence area. They all have attitudes when you call to ask questions and do not care about customer service at all. Many times I watch these so called mail men hang out, two or three trucks at a time, at the church parking lot by my house. Then when you call to ask what is going on you get an attitude and put on hold for twenty minutes. These people make it near impossible to run a business out of your house, I know have to switch my important mail to UPS. These people are obviously not from the Independence area but commute here everyday. I wish they would stay out of our city as they are making a bad name for the rest of our residents. It seems like they deliver the mail only when they feel it is appropriate, as I have gone days without receiving any mail at all when I know something of great importance is suppose to be at my house, including the Wed. shopping fliers. If you are reading this, it is worth your time and hard earned money to drive to the next closest post office and take care of your business there.
