They gave me an estimate of $500 to replace an irrigation pump and charged me about $650. The repairman broke my shut-off valve to my well but the company had a subcontractor come out and replace it and reconnect my well to the irrigation pipe. The subcontractor did a good job replacing my valve. The technician who originally installed my pump otherwise did a good job as well. He wired the pump with no problem. He cut back all the PVC and made new connections. He dug up my pump pad and raised it up so the pump is above ground level. He also installed a pump cover. I'm sure my system will last longer now since this is a professional grade pump with a pump cover.
