South Beach Fitness is open and welcomes you.

It is less expensive and nicer facility.

One mile north of the old our club.

Ok the equipment is old and outdated, So What? It's a huge gym with more equipment than any other gym in the area. The best part of this gym is that the staff are all volunteers so they actually care, and treat you like a friend. They have an excellent pool area with a sauna, steam room, spa. Not a fan of the heated pool( This is Florida IT'S HOT ENOUGH!) but at leadt its olympic size! Anyway I guess the old ladies like it warm. I have tried just about every gym in the area and for me this gym gives you the best bang for your buck. And the people are really nice compared to South Beach. I recently had a bad experience with the Southbeach Gym Manager/owner whatever? The guy is a wacko! Very rude. Our Club

Has an older crowd but they don't get in your way and they don't hog the machines like younger people. I'm 32 and I was probably the youngest person in the gym. Nevertheless I love the atmosphere, the staff is great, they will play any type of music you want. Sure the machines are all old and creeky but what do you expect from a non-profit gym. They do have a professional maintenance man on hand. A treadmill I was on had a belt malfunction and stopped working. I told the lady at the desk and the maintenance guy fixed it within 5 minutes no problem. Belt realigned and cleaned off, no problem! If you travel like I do and visit as many gyms as I do you will know this is extremely rare. Any other gym will instantly slap on an out of order sticker on a machine without even trying to diagnose the problem, and there goes your workout. My search is over. When I come to Brevard this is the only gym I will go to. Huge workout area, tons of machine options, most excellent staff, cheap day passes, ridiculously fun spin class, Olympic pool, hot showers....what more could you want?
