My children ages 3 and 1 have both been injured in the daycare. My daughter was held down and bit by a child care workers boy and my 1 year old was bit on the nose which made it swell up for two days. On separate incidents they have been bitten on the back and arm. During one incident I was walking by the daycare and noticed my daughter lying on the floor face down crying with the worker walking away from her rolling her eyes. When I demanded answers, I was told by Jen Villa (director of guest services) that I needed to apologize or I was banned from the YMCA until I did.

I left a message for the board president to call me regarding the issues and was assured by the front desk manager that the note was given, however discovered recently that it was not.

In addition to the many excuses that we were given as to why these things happened to our children, we were told that our children are the only one's that anything has happened to. I have also recently heard that is not true from a mother who has also had issues with the daycare.
