I went to the BDC @ Comm. North, for my first mammogram and was told that I needed to come back to do another screening because the radiologist was not able to make a clear reading on my results, for what ever reason. The first technician was nice and she was very gentle when doing my mammogram. For my 2nd mammogram, the technician was very rough w me and left me w a bruise on my breaste after using the ultrasound instrument , I even questioned (to myself) if she was familiar w the correct way to use it. I also asked tech. #2 a question about how dangerous the radiation is frm a mammogram. She gave me a strange reply and said, quote, "there's more radiation when we fly on an airplane, than what you get from a mammogram, but no one tells you that" end quote. With an attitude nonetheless. Gee, I'm sorry, if I wasn't already scared enough that I had to come back for a 2nd mammogram, and that I didn't already know the answer to that question! A little better bed side manner or maybe even a little more compassion would have been nice! I had problems @ Comm. North years ago, that's why I switched to St. Vincent's along time ago, and never had any problems there!!!. But I thought I would give Comm. North one more try! My bad!

The people were very friendly, I just could not get what I wanted. I talked to 4 people before I finally got to the correct person. They were courteous the whole time but some of them had know clue.
