Some nice gowns and associates were polite, but the gowns were crowded on the racks, dressing rooms small, mirror space at a major premium, and didn't feel service was personal or special

I went to David's Bridal hoping to find a beautiful princess dress for prom. Unfortunatly for me, they didn't have a wide variety of dress styles to choose from. The majority of the dresses I looked at were fairly plain and straight. Their prices seemed reasonable and the staff was fairly friendly but nothing caught my eye. There was nothing wrong with David's Bridal but I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone who was looking for a fancy or princess type dress.

I made an appointment to try on dresses, no-one helped! My mother and mother-in-law went through dresses on the floor and found one that I liked. I purchased the dress and it came and nobody called me. Two weeks before I left (I am way to trusting) I called the store to check on the dress. It had been in for a few weeks. Therefore, I had to pay extra for alterations ($370.00!) I came in to pick up the dress (after the first alteration) and it was to big! They still needed to take 2 inches off each side, and she blammed it on me for loosing weight. I told her if I could loose four inches in a week I'd be rich!! So she finally re-altered it I came in to pick it up thinking it would be right. The dress was to tight!! I couldn't hardly breathe let alone wear the bra I had the dress altered in! I took the dress anyway because I was leaving the next day for the wedding (it was a destination wedding). It is finally the day of the wedding and all I could thing about was the dress not fitting. I was taking water pills and not eating anything I wanted to during the trip. Anyway, the entire back zipper ripped out of the dress at the reception. It was awful! I know you're thinking that I'm probably a big girl, but I'm 5'2 and wear a size 4!



I hope that no-one experiences anything this awful on their wedding day! I hope that this review helps someone make a better decision than I did. Good luck!!
