Lakeside Pointe in Nora on College is the worst by far. Unfortunately, I had to make a quick move and ended up in this hell hole. I have made several complaints with the Marion County Housing and Environmental Standards Dept. for CODE VIOLATIONS that would make you nauseous.
I could detail all of my complaints but it would take several days.
Number one is that they do not have a maintenance crew because nobody will work for a complex like this that is so run down. I don't blame them. It is 90 degrees in my apartment because they have not fixed my air conditioner yet. It is May 24th and I have not had a working air conditioner this summer and I am on the 2nd floor.
The windows must be propped up (supported) to remain open and one is permanently open one inch at the top (yes, even in winter). The kitchen faucet leaks underneath, the roaches come from every angle because....well, there are several reasons....but bleach, traps, poisons.....you can't beat it because the neighboring tenants are accustomed to that environment. In their culture it is acceptable to just throw food remnants on the floor ANYWHERE...entryway, stairs, etc.
Additionally, the office staff is the bottom of the barrel entry-level "don't care cuz I don't live here" kids.
Oh, ALSO, just hope your building doesn't have a fire if you are on the 2nd floor because when the back staircases got too unsafe they destroyed them instead of repairing or replacing them
