i purchased a Groupon and even managed to schedule an appointment. My appointment was inexplicably cancelled without even a phone call from the salon. I then rescheduled my appointment, and it was supposed to be today. I called to confirm and the phone automatically went to voicemail. When I called Groupon, I was told that the merchant had "temporarily closed" and I was given a refund. This is not the way to do business! Glad I received my refund though.

I purchased a Groupon for a mani/pedi at Polish Me Pretty. I showed up for my scheduled appointment to find the lights out and a closed sign on the door. I called the number, of course no one answered because they NEVER answer. I also tried the number on the voicemail for cancellations but no answer on that either. Luckily Groupon refunded my money but that's after I drove over a half hour each way. What a shady business.
