He is board certified in adult congenital heart disease and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. He completed a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Indiana University Hospitals/Riley Children?s Hospital, Indianapolis and a senior fellowship at Children?s Hospital, Boston. He served for five years as a faculty member at Riley Hospital, where he was also associate director for the Cardiac Catheterization Labs. He has extensive experience in cardiac catheterization and performed the first stent placements in pulmonary arteries in children and coil embolization for ductus ateriosus in Indiana. He has published more than 25 original articles and abstracts.
