Dr. Appolinia "Abby" Stephenson, joined the Newborn Hospitalist team at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in September 2018 after serving as Pediatric Chief Resident at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis where she worked in the Newborn Unit and served on the Continuing Medical Education Committee. Prior to her Chief Residency year, Abby completed her Pediatric Residency at IU where she chaired the Board Review Committee and traveled to China to complete an international rotation on adoption. Dr. Stephenson received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine where she was awarded the Tina Kwan Memorial Scholarship in Pediatrics. She also earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she graduated Cum Laude with Departmental Honors and High Honors in Pharmacy. She has served her community by volunteering for the American Diabetes Associate Camp John Marvel in North Webster, Indiana as well as for the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired as a Recreation Volunteer. Dr. Stephenson enjoys many interests and hobbies including cooking, crafting, reading recipes, traveling, dogs, board games, and Butler basketball.
