Provided by YP.comI was very dissappointed with my visit to Yama's! When i arrived there was 3 people ahead of me even though i called and made an appointment earlier that week. My appointment was at 9 and i didnt get started till 11 ish. Her daughter busy was the only braider there. I was there for 12 hours and when i got home i discovered that my braids were uneven and parted way too big. My braids did not look full and i paid $180 to get them done. I went back to yama a couple days later so she could fix some of them in the back and make them smaller. she did a terrible job! That was after i spent an additional 3 1/2 hrs for to fix it. i would not recommend this shop to NO ONE!!! The shop and bath room were very nasty!!!

Provided by YP.comThe shop was not yet open at 8:45 am and my appointment was at 9 am.
I had to call Yama from the business card I had got from her on Tuesday. She did answer and said she was on her way. Her daughter name Busy showed up to open the doors at almost 9:30 am. I did not have to wait along because there was another lady there with a 9 am appointment. I was the first person called to the chair to get started and then the lady I was waiting with about 15 minutes later. Then about 6pm or a little later she was done with the other lady and I was done about 7:10 pm. In between these hours I watched two walkin customers come and get their hair done and go in about 4 hours. While my beautiful senegalese twists are beautiful; they were not worth 10 hours of processing with a couple of breaks and a large glass of ice tea. I must say it is very unprofessional to treat clients who made an appointment that way. That is not a way to get repeat customers or referrals. I was very dissapointed and full of body aches, and ibuprofen. Yama, please think of your customers and not just the money.
