Mr. Mindle not only delivered, but exceeded all expectations. When I received my "hybrid nakiri" as I have come to call it from Ronin Blades I could tell that Guy Mindle is not only a fantastic bladesmith, but also an unbelieveable customer service expert. WIth every stroke I could tell that he had considered everything that I had requested and suggested. After around ten days of sixteen hour shifts, the blade is still as sharp as it was when I unboxed and I am almost twice as fast as I was with my Shun. Even though the knife that I ordered (at a more than reasonable price mind you) was entirely custom designed, I have no doubt in my mind that any and all products from this company will be held to at least the standard that my hybrid nakiri was created at. Thank you Ronin Blades, and thank you Guy Mindle. You have replaced my Shun as my new tool of choice. The Ronin Edge is at the top of my reccomandation list, and I will be ordering again.
