Jewish Council for Youth Services, located in Ingleside, Ill., offers a variety of social, medical and skilled nursing services to children and youth with developmental disabilities. It has a children s justice division that provides services to children suffering from sexual and physical abuse and domestic violence. The center offers specialized services that include bullying prevention, individual counseling, drug and alcohol prevention, assistance and juvenile probation programs, children s education and in-home parenting of infants. It additionally organizes recreational and respite programs that include field trips, swimming classes and activity workshops. The center organizes camps and school programs, such as group discussions, drug and alcohol prevention seminars, storytelling and journaling. The center offers 24-hour medical and emergency assistance.
