Had a great experience in LA...nice surprise with the upgrade and the cleanliness of the car, a rarity now a days. The only complaint I have was the return...hard to find, bad signage!

We had a good experience renting from National in LA this week. The only issue we have is the signage is challenging to find where to drop off the vehicle and we made a few wrong turns. Other than that, the car was great and all of the services relating to renting were super.

I use National worldwide, and this location has the worse shuttle service of any other location I've utilized. The selection of cars is good, and the employees were friendly. But I watched multiple Avis, Hertz and Enterprise shuttles pass by me at the terminal before a National bus showed up. It was completely full, and had luggage stored on the floor in the aisle, which created a safety hazard for the passengers on-board. The shuttle service from their lot to the airport had the same issues. From reading the other reviews, this is a recurring and common problem with this location. They obviously are not interested in addressing it.

I use National when I travel for work and now have used their rental company for my last vacation.

I've been using National for the last years and every time I rent a car the experience is very good. I never had a single problem. The cars are great and new.

Frequent traveler to LAX on business and our company has a relationship with National. Car selection and service has been consistently very good. My only complaint is there's typically a decent wait for the National Car bus from the terminal to the National facility whereas the other rental companies buses come by with greater frequency.

FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!!!!!



I upgraded to a Mercedes, enjoyed the car, returned the car. I paid for the vehicle with my credit card, got a receipt and everything was fine.



2 days later: I check my account this morning and National has charged me an additional $500 for no reason!



I received no call, no alert, nobody mentioned any problems when I returned the car and I have a receipt that shows we paid the balance and left without a problem.



Now I call and there is not one person who can tell me what this mysterious charge is for!!!!!!! "MAYBE IT IS WRECKED?" is what the person tells me on the phone.



Maybe it is wrecked!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? Yes, I am sure I would be allowed to leave the car with it being wrecked.



I am not being helped, all I hear is "we will have to find a supervisor, no one is available."



Are you kidding me?????? I am calling my bank and reporting fraud as soon as I get finished with this review.



Terrible Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people charge you and refuse to help. There not one piece of information related to an additional $500 charge that anybody can find.



In addition, I purchased the daily insurance to cover the car bumper to bumper even if it is totaled and now I am getting charged.



As of now, I am waiting for a call back.
