I’m a newbee at Dependent Baptist Church, but not to Christianity. My family and I love to worship at our new church where we’ve found a group of loving, godly friends. It is a church that is rich in relationships that matter - God and family. Along with our Pastor we work together to grow, to laugh, to cry to serve and to reach the world for Christ. Dependent Baptist Church has a wonderful missions program and there are ministries for the young and the young at heart. It’s a wonderful place to worship Jesus Christ on the journey to Heaven. I’d recommend Dependent Baptist Church to anyone looking for a loving church family grounded on the Word of God.!

My wife and I (and my mom) joined Dependent over a year ago and have absolutely loved it. We have grown in the Lord and in our relationship, and the folks there are very warm, fun-loving, and compassionate toward everyone - visitors and members alike. Our pastor loves his folks and invests most of his week to praying & caring for his congregation, and he definitely puts much study time & prayer into his preaching and teaching. This church is good for any age group ... even the teenagers in the church get involved and have a great time. The atmosphere is relaxed, and we have good times in our fellowships, ranging from the huge fireworks show on July 4th or the annual wild-game supper in January to raise money for missionaries. (Contrary to comments in a previous review, the only snakes you may find at our church are the ones fried up for the wild-game supper! lol).

Dependent Baptist Church and Christian School is a blessing to the community. I am not a member, but I truly appreciate the Pastor and his wife and the fact that they treat my family as if we were a part of the church. Their school is wonderful and I am proud to be associated with DCS. Thank you for your years of service.

I was a little surprised at the previous review, especially after attending there for many years. I will admit it is painful for me to read such a negative outlook of this wonderful place, however, the right to express your opinion is one of the many wonderful freedoms that we enjoy in this country. I can't help but think that it also illustrates the beauty of God's love, which allows everyone to have a choice in their beliefs. God will never force anyone to accept His grace and each individual that has ever drawn a breath has the freedom to decide for himself how they will believe. Each person will also be forced to accept the consequences of those choices. I appreciate that Dependent extends the truth of the Gospel and everyone there is allowed the choice to accept the truth or reject the the truth. A very loving place to go and worship God, who loves us unconditionally and I would highly recommended this as a place to visit with your entire family.
