I went into this laundry mat in inman for the first time due to the washer machine in my home stopped working. The money machine only takes "old money" and not the new big faced bills for change. This caused me to drive to the gas station and ask them for "old" bills. They gave me $10 in quarters. I drove back and used the machines which were out of date and not cleaned very well. After the clothes were finished washing, I used the dryer and it was so out of date I needed a user's manual in order to use it. I had to put a quarter in and then twist the knob in order for it to receive the quarter. After the money was entered, I had to choose the type of temperature and instead of just pressing the start button, I had to press and hold the start button for five seconds in order for it to start. As I was waiting for the clothes to dry (being that the dryer would never get them dry enough which meant more money and time) a guy walked in and told me that they were closing. This was a shock to me cause there were no hours of operations posted on the doors or windows for me to know the closing time. I told the guy that I didn't know the hours of operation and I only have ten minutes left, could I finsh drying the clothes. He said no cause he have other places to close and that he usually closes earlier. I asked him where could I see the hours of operation and he took me to the other side of the building in the back and on top of the wall there were the hours of operation. I told him there was no way for me to know to look there and that 10 minutes was all I was asking. He said no and that he has to close up. So I gathered my clothes and after I put my clothes back in the car, I asked him could I get a $2.00 refund since I still have unused money in the machine. The guy told me that the owner is Joey Carter and that I would have to speak with him. I said ok whats his number sd o I can call him. The guy said that he can't give out the owner's number. I asked then how can I speak with him about my refund if you can't give me his number? The guy said that I would have to fill out a form. I said ok where is the form and I will fill it out. The guy went into a room and tore off a piece of paper from an envelope and said to write my name and address and he will mail it back to me. I asked the guy what his name was and he said that his name was not important. This was by far the worse, dirtiest, out-dated laundry mat and service I ever experienced. I will definitely not go back there and I strongly suggest to everyone else to try another laundrymat.
