At 60 years, I am taking my first riding lessons and chose Scotsgrove because of a friend's high recommendation. I may be in the paddock with teenaged girls and even first graders, but it doesn't matter. Everyone is kind and devoted to improving their capabilities and I feel safe and well-instructed. A trail ride has usually followed my lesson, which ups the satisfaction! I love my lesson horse, who is very gentle and understanding and can't wait until I have the pleasure of giving him an apple treat. I have had two different instructors and both were excellent. The 400 acres are now turning color and it's a lovely time to be riding.
