This is a terrific course, a real challenge and a bargain.

Particularly outstanding are the greens. If you want to see what the Pros will deal with at Pinehurst #2 soon, play Interlochen from the Blues. Greens are inverted saucers that require greater skill than I had to play them well. Approach shots must be in just the right places or your 1st putt is a chip. They are smooth, fast and break a bunch - a lot of fun to play. I'm headed back tomorrow for a 2nd shot at them.

There are a few holes where you must know where to place your drive or you'll be trying Bubba Watson fades & draws to hit the greens.

Now that I know more, this 7-handicapper is gonna see if he break 90 (which I couldn't do yesterday).

dont play here

on a whim drove into the golf course because my 5 year old daughter wanted to play. (playing to her is hitting off the tee a few times and putting once in a while). decided to play only 9 holes with a cart and was charged 30 dollars which to me is a lot considering its only april. asked tony (the owner) why so much and he said he had to charge for my daughters cart fee and round. what golf course in their right mind would charge for a little girl to play golf with her father. will never go back.
