April 09 I would recommend the salon, but do agree the price of a cut $32--45 is high for a basic cut, and should include a wash & dry. Most stylists I've had a good cut, however, after my last cut, I have a much different opinion. My stylist was on vacation, so I went to a different one, which proved to be a burst of her ego, as after her return, during my requested usual shoulder-length cut, proceded to cut 4 inches above the shoulder. I think most would agree this was a very immature form of retaliation!

I have been going to this salon for about 7 years. I don't trust anyone else to cut my hair. The prices are more expensive than some of the walk-in chain salons, but you get what you pay for. This is not one of those salons that limits their employees to 15 minutes a cut. They seem to priced inbetween the walk-in chain salons and the high end salons, but their service and experience matches that of the high end salons. I have co-workers that pay a lot more for a cut than I do here and get the same result.

I highly recommend 65th Street Salon to anyone! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. No matter who does my hair it always looks great and I get compliments on it all the time. The prices are pretty reasonable, it's obviously more expensive than a chain (like cost cutters) but it's worth the extra money-I never pay more than $40 for a cut (including tip) and I've never had a bad haircut! Jenny is my favorite stylist but they are all wonderful.

I would highly recommend this salon, the staff is courteous and friendly, trustworthy and educated. I don't trust anyone else to cut my hair. I have had haircuts from different stylists here and I have always walked out in love with my haircut!

I have gone to this salon for 10 years for a variety of services from haircuts and highlights to pedicures and waxing. I feel welcome everytime I come in and they know what they are doing. You pay for quality service but well worth it!

No way would I recommend the salon. Their prices are outragous.. You would think you were in Edina getting special pampering or Minnetonka.. but no .. it is a small salon behind a auto parts warehouse.. and they charge thru the nose .. for a minor hair style.. No cut... no color....no washing of the hair.. . just a few curls here and there and a few squirts of hairsray and it cost $30 g.d. dollars. !!!!! . I would go some where else get just as good of a job.. and half the price..
