Inver Grove Heights Community Schools offers educational and cocurricular programs for students in prekindergarten through grade 12. An independent school district, Inver Grove Heights has been operational for more than 35 years. Inner Grove enrolls more than 4,000 students annually. Located in Inner Grove Heights, Minn., the school utilizes a language arts approach to reading, writing, spelling, listening and speaking. It features modern computer and science laboratories, support and extend classrooms, a library, gymnasium, family and resource center, and multipurpose cafeteria. The school provides specialized classes in arts and crafts, and music, physical and health education. Its activities include musical performances, dramatic productions, author and artist-in-residence programs, school spirit days, community service programs, and field days.
