Citrus High School serves the educational needs of students in grades 9 through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and offers classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, physical education, foreign languages, business and vocational studies. It organizes counseling sessions for students and provides financial assistance through scholarships. Citrus High School has athletic teams in cross country, volleyball, football, swimming, wrestling, basketball, soccer and golf. Its media center houses general reference materials, magazines, dictionaries, biographies and atlases and offers access to the Internet. Located in Inverness, Fla., Citrus High School is a part of the Citrus County School District.
