Thank You Quick Care Med of Inverness Staff you helped a frantic mother in her hour of need. Thank you for taking your time to give my daughter excellent care. Thank you for talking to me like a family member not just another customer. Thank you for seeing her again the next day just to ease my nerves. As a Provider, myself I know how difficult it can be at times to deal with a frantic guest. The staff at Quick Care Med Inverness did a beyond excellent job

$90 to sit in the tiniest waiting room (real great for HIPPA confidentiality and privacy) and watch as person after person went ahead of me. Did I mention I was there for over an hour before being called back? Apparently they were training the doctor or PA or whoever he was. They need to work on their communication.

If the people in the front would put down the snacks and keep the talking to a minimum, maybe their office would be more professional and efficient. Will NEVER go back. I'd rather just be sick.

Only getting one star because YP makes you select at least one.

Doctor was Good Billing Dept is a Nightmare

Went in with my daughter to the Inverness clinic, we were both sick. The doctor was nice saw us quickly no complaints. HOWEVER when I arrived they said it was $150 each if I had not met my insurance deductible. She said she would check with the insurance co and let me know. Of course she said she had checked and the deductible had not been met. This was June 2014. I received my EOB from the ins co and it stated patient owes provider $40. So instead of $300 my bill should have been $80. I immediately called my insurance BCBS and told her what had happened and I had been told. She said that when a doctor's office calls and inquires they put notes in the account and there were no notes to indicate she had ever called to verify my deductibles, had she done so they would have told her my deductible HAD been met. In addition they said because they are a perferred provider it shouldn't have been more than 15% had my deductible not been met. So here I am 10/23 after numerous calls and everytime I call their billing department I have to start the process all over again because the last person is no longer with them. Today I was told I should have a check within 1-2 days. We will see, considering it has been over 4 months since my visit I wonder what kind of late charges I would have incurred if I had waited that long to pay them?

Always great service

I have been here 4 times in the past year (I am self-pay and have no insurance). They have always taken great care of me and I actually prefer to visit the Dr. here over my normal Doctor. I am usually in and out within a half hour and they are always extremely nice to me. I would definitely recommend.

Additional Bill from Outside Lab Unexpectedly Received

I went for a UTI and arrived thirty minutes before their posted closing time. They locked the door immediately after I entered the waiting area. The Nurse Practioner confirmed I had a UTI and prescribed me antibiotics. A few days later I got a call from the local hospital confirming I had a UTI.... OK? I paid Quick Care $70 for my appointment and $10 for the urinanalysis. Then I received a bill from the lab of the local hospital! For $40! I do not have health insurance. When I called Quick Care to figure out what was going on, the woman told me the nurse/NP should have told me that my specimen, if it tested positive, would be sent out for further testing. When I told her I was never told this (nor did I sign anything consenting to this), she said, "They should have," and that was that. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me and I've been to a lot of walk in clinics. The only reason I went here is because Allen Ridge was closed. Next time I will just tough it out until the next day so I don't have to deal with this clinic again.
