I will NEVER take another animal to Inwood Center again as long as I live!! We have vetted with them for nearly 35 years. But they have become outrageous in their prices and show absolutely NO empathy what-so-ever!!
We had to take Sadie in to be put down today. She was close to death. They said they couldn’t do it unless we paid for an exam. Charged us 200+ for putting her down. Then, wouldn’t “send her for burial” tomorrow unless we drove back up and paid it in full. Roy wasn’t expecting to pay that much at the time. Not one drop of feelings about our dog. All they give a crap about is money. 😡

Do not take your animals here. The front office staff is constantly griping and not friendly, and the Vet techs are all attitude. The girl hat I saw proceeded to drag my blind, diabetic dog into the back. That was the end for us.

Do not take your pet there. Took 2 cats there back in 2006 to get neutered and they brought me out one of mine and someone else's. Mislabled in the back they said. Recently took brother's cat in who was patient for 17 yrs because peeing blood. She's obviously in her last days and I thought their so called expertise would advise me to put her down, but nooo, they want to extend her misery, do blood work, put her on meds, and soak me for 200 bucks that I don't have. This cat has seriously declined since her visit 4 days ago. Vet called with blood test results, told her she wasn't eating or drinking but all she want's to talk about is treating her for hyperthyroidism. If this were so with the thyroid problem, I know for a fact that she would be eating like there was no tomorrow. They made me feel that all they were concerned with was the almighty dollar. I did not feel any sympathy or compassion for my sick kitty. Want a good and caring vet, go to Linden Heights Animal Hospital in Winchester, VA. Highly recommend.
