I was a longtime customer of this store - since they first opened. I always loved the merchandise, displays, assortment, and staff. Unfortunately, the founder recently sold the business and the new owner is mean and unfriendly.



Last week, I was in shopping and witnessed another customer bring a broken ornament to the owner - she said that they bumped together on the display and one cracked. The woman looked her in the eye and said "I expect you to pay for that - but I"ll sell it to you for 1/2 price". The customer objected but the owner insisted, so the poor lady paid $4 for a broken ornament - and then immediately left with no other purchase (she left a basket full of goodies on the floor). I also left my armload of merchandise and walked out.



It was bad enough that this new owner did away with their frequent shopper program, even though the prior owner insisted that she would honor them... the says there was a "computer glitch" and that she lost all of the balances.



In all, I can say that my visits to this store since it sold have been mediocre at best and unpleasant at worst... I will never go back.
