I have lived in many different cities and states across the southeast and the irmo police department may the most poorly run group of idiots I've ever come across. They collect all of their money setting up speed traps on st andrews at the bottom of a hill during school traffic. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. These guys would rather sit in a bar or in the citgo parking lot and collect money from speeding tickets than to actually go after criminals. I wish there was a button for zero stars because I honestly feel that a group of uneducated, white trash, meth heads would keep our streets safer.

AFTER COMPLAINING FOR YEARS.......THE IRMO POLICE ARE STILL SPENDING HOURS A DAY HANGING OUT INSIDE OF HEMMINGWAYS BAR !!!!



NOW WE HAVE CRIMES BEING COMMITED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT (the recent robbery of steel at 330 pm) AND IT IS SUPRISING???? I THINK NOT.



WHY WOULD'NT THE CHIEF MAKE HIS OFFICERS EARN THEIR PAY?

MAYBE WORK FOR AN ENTIRE SHIFT.......THAT WOULD BE A GOOD START PEOPLE.
