i am from new jersey, and have recently moved to irmo, sc my wife and i have been looking at churches, not that we are picky, we just want something where the pastor tells it like it is , and is not afraid to offend, but defend the gospel of christ!! Dr. Carney is a very good teacher, who knows how to emphasize!! the church is big and spacious, and the teaching is right on!! we still have not joined yet, sometimes we feel like outsiders, i guess im saying is that the people need to outreach towards others more, as not one person or couple asked about us! or introduced themselves to us, sometimes we live in a comfort zone, afraid to friend someone or intrude! we will continue to go there but i hope Dr. carney speaks on this to his congregation, it is needed!
