I checked many vets to locate Dr. Terrance Hunter who left his previous practice. I did not want to take my dog to anyone else. When I located him at Well Pets, I immediately called to see him. He is an excellent vet and has always taken care of any problems. I feel very thankful to have found him and transferred all records to Well Pets. Thank you Dr. Hunter for seeing BB and helping her cope with an injury to her leg. Meds were supplied along with directions that will help her heal. I highly recommend the practice, Dr. Hunter and the staff. I couldn't ask for anything more. Again, many thanks from BB and her mama!

I have been going to Well Pets for many years and sadly I have watched this practice decline drastically.

The new management/owner(s) are only about the money now and not about our pets. IT IS AMAZING WHAT YOU OVERHEAR WHILE WAITING TO BE SEEN. The prices have gone up and up. Recently I asked for a prescription to be sent to Walmart to be filled because it is cheaper and also requested a written script for flea/ticks and they made me feel as if I was doing something wrong by asking.

The examining rooms seem to always be unclean and not sanitized. They do not appear to be cleaned between exams with visible fur, dander and remnants from other pets which could be harmful if you’re pet had an open wound.

Dr. Graham, Dr. Moore (daytime) and Dr. Sheridan (after hours) are very thorough and knowledgeable. I will follow the first one that leaves and practices somewhere else. (I recommend avoiding Dr. Bell (after hours) who comes across as very snarky & sarcastic probably to compensate for her lack of knowledge).

I will not be back.

Well Pets saved our 2 pups' lives! Thanks to their willingness to see us after hours and information on how to help our pups through (after ingesting Gorilla Glue), our pups miraculously are living full, healthy lives again. We love Well Pets!

My pets are regularly seen at Well Pets, and I have always had good experiences with the office. Last night, after my lab-mix cut her leg open, we had to make use of the after hours clinic. I have used after hours clinics for a variety of pets over the years, in a few different states, and last night's experience was my best so far. My dog was immediately taken into the exam area, and the vet was looking at her within 10 minutes. In less than an hour, my baby had been stitched up, cleaned, and was waking up from procedural sedation to get ready to head home. During the time the vet and techs were working on her, I was constantly kept apprised of how she was doing, and what kind of damage she had to her leg. We were able to take her home to recover in less than 2 hours of our arrival. Everyone - from the front desk staff to the clinical practitioners, were wonderful.

I've noticed that lots of folks in reviews have been complaining about the cost of services. I was given an *estimate* (depending on damage found) of about $350 - $650. My total costs were about $400, and this included the $59.00 office fee, plus all the surgical fees, and medicines to go home. While some folks may find this high, let me just say that, after living most of my life in New England - where the average after hours clinic cost for *just stepping into the office* is well over $150.00 - the costs of the clinic at Well Pets are reasonable. My thanks to you all for the excellent care my baby received. :)

Found the best place for pet care. Well Pets in Irmo made my day with thier caring an professional staff. the droctors were very thorough with the history of my 5 year old pit. The prices were the cheapest compared other vets I found. I will always take my dog there and I can always afford it.
