It develops products, provides professional services and technology consulting for local and state governments, public health agencies, social service agencies, multi-lateral agencies and the private sector.CAL2CAL is a member of the HL 7 organization and is actively involved in its activities. It has been retained by the Los Angeles County, State of California and Southern Nevada Health District to implement HL 7 standards based architecture and systems. We have published and presented in international conferences on using HL 7 to promote integration and interoperability in healthcare informatics. A paper presented by us in the HL 7 conference in Taiwan in 2005 won the best paper award.
