Canyon View Elementary School offers classes from grades kindergarten through six. Its facility consists of more than 30 classrooms, including spaces for special programs in music, art and science. It also includes more than 300 ports to the Internet and school-wide video capacity. The school s information resource center serves as an electronic hub that provides information access and communication throughout the building and the community. The school s classrooms are attached to a common technology satellite area to facilitate technology-supported teaching and learning. Canyon View Elementary School also operates an advisory body that develops school improvement plan and reviews the effectiveness of educational programs. The school has an enrollment of more than 850 students and is located in Irvine, Calif.
