I love their Peking duck and B.B.Q pork.

I went to Sam Woo's on Saturday at 5:30 pm



They had lots of tables but made us wait 15 minutes anyway



The service was slow



An earlier reveiwer said that alot of Asian people go there and they are right



They get better service



We ordered our food and a party that got seated 15 minutes after us got their food 15 minutes before us



Too much MSG



Will not go back

Okay, first and foremost...what kind of person will bring up their own background to add validity to their poor review? Don't get it. If she really is Chinese, then she will know that EVERYONE loves the food, especially the Chinese. Why do you always see more Asian faces dining at the tables. Uhm, maybe because it's truly delicious? Hmmm, think about it CClin517. Don't hate...appreciate :)



Besides having to spend over an hour driving to Monterey Park/Alhambra, where else are you going to find such an array of delicious authentic Cantonese food for such affordable prices? If anything, they brought authentic Chinese cuisine to the Asians in Irvine and south OC.



I think the gal who wrote that terrible review needs to stop complaining and be a bit more positive. I highly recommend anyone to dine at any of the three...Sam Woo Seafood, Dine In, or Express. I love it all and hopefully you will too ! Go check it out !!!

I am a chinese, and I can tell you that this restaurant is not worth to try. Too much MSG, food is to americanize. Seriously, nah...........
