Dear Dr. Tokita,

I doubt you remember me, when we met I was just 5 years old. You diagnosed and treated my father Martin McPherson. He was given 6 months to live and you offered him a possible extension on life. He lived an additional 9 years. I could not find a way to contact you, I thought that if I hand wrote a letter that it may never see it's way to you. I want to thank you. Thank you for allowing me to grow up knowing my father. He was such an inspiration to me, if he passed in the 6 months he was originally given I would have never known what a great man he was. I remember you, I think it was in 1989, we were in San Francisco. You were there by my fathers side and I thought "what a great man this Dr Tokita, he saved my dad",. I am grown now, I have a family of my own. But I am en-debited to you, you allowed my father to stay in this world longer than his days were numbered. Thank you. Thank you.
