I had a apt with Dr Rikin S. Patel on Friday April 12 2019 @ 8:30 am. first of all the doctor has no matters to talk to a patient. that was my first time going to TDDC
he walks in the room and didn't greet me like a doctor. He started off by tell and showing the past collections paper work from 2017 & 2018. I asked him are in collections and he no. he said no but this has to be paid before anything. so said are you the Dr. I am suppose to see and he didn't answer he kept talking about the past collection from the Baylor. 20 mins later I said to him. so I came in this office to you so you can collect $787.05. is that right. He than said no but you have pay the past collection first gave a sheet with all the collections on it.I have never ever had dr visit with a Dr.that brings up collections first. so then he I am calling in some Bowel Prep. I said to him ok. are you the Dr Patel I have an apt with or you in collections. he still looked at me look go to Hell. very very very rude. so go and gives the 20 sheet of paper and tell to read them when I get home. I told him I have go back to work. he again looked at with a werid look like shut up. so he get up from where he sitting and go pay your copay for your insurance now. so I said this what I am paying for $ 80.00 for a prescription, collection papers. right. at that point I was very upset. I am sick with 2 ulcers, having to go to Baylor for more blood because I am very anemia. he didn't answer me he just walked the room. I walked out and the at desk to my left said it will be $80.00. I asked her so that was the doctor or a collector. she I am very sorry what you went thur. I said I will be coming back to what that was....not a profession doctor at all..Elizabeth Combs.
