North Lake College offers more than 20 degrees and over 50 certificates in career educational programs. The college offers classes in accounting, math, science, physics and nursing. It serves nearly 10,100 students annually. The college provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer. It maintains a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. North Lake College has environmental, journalism, photography, speech and video clubs. The college also supports the Student Government Association. It is governed by the Dallas County Community College District. North Lake College operates the Workforce Development Center, which is an approximately 10,000-square-foot facility.

Not coming back there...

I recently went to the north lake bookstore to buy a textbook for online Spanish. After being largely dissatisfied with the class, I decided to drop it and return the book.

Being two days before the deadline for a book refund, I felt relatively positive that I could return the book. Nothing was wrong, and according to the receipt I had everything I needed.

In short, the jackass store lady told me that there is no return policy if you've touched the book code in any way. It was "The book is yours, have a nice day!".

It's disgusting what they're doing to students with little money. There goes my $200.
