New ownership and management has taken over the property in recent months. They have increased the rents and promised improvements. I have personally experience no improvements. The increased rents are necessary to pay for all of the problems on the property. These problems are capital expenses and should be assumed by the new owner and not paid for by current and new residents. When they refer to improvements I guess they mean attempting to repair problems residents shouldn't have to put up with anyway such as plumbing and foundation issues. The property has been plagued with problems for years. They actually removed the pool outside my unit because I assume they do not want the expense of that pool. I also feel the ownership (Paramount) and the management (Greystar) are arrogant and only concerned about profit. There have been issues with water, sewage, foundations, etc.

Location and neighborhoods are outstanding!! Rent is a little cheaper than right down the street because of the Irving and Coppell city limits. The right apartment facing the correct direction is a big plus. Never face the west in Texas because of the late afternoon summer sun and heat. But I think it is a very good choice and I enjoy the floorplans and amenities. The management staff is professional and any request for maintenance are handled quickly, usually within a couple of days. Emergency (If any) requests are handled within minutes. If you are looking to move in the center of Dallas and Ft Worth area and just minutes away from DFW Airport. Grapevine Mills and 100's of places to dine, drink and enjoy are very accessible. Not many issues with young people having parties and loud music. This is a quiet community and I highly recommend these apartments.
