The absolute worst service ever. They are rude and don't care about you once they get paid. Our products were damaged and lost and after they found half of the lost shipment, they wanted us to pick if up. They hung up the phone on us and won't respond to our emails. Stay as far away from this shady company as possible. Warn all your other importers.

I imported some good from overseas, the shipper paid all the shipping charges up till Chicago. I paid my dues to Lavistar Logistics Inc. and got a Release Order form from them. At this point all I had to do was to collect my shipment form Warehouse in Chicago and off course pay them the storage/handling fees. To my surprise Lavinstar requested the warehouse $400 some dollars before the shipment is released to me.

The warehouse did show me the papers and Lavinstar refuses to accept that the charge is for them. Lavinstar's billing dept. is non courteous and rude and they just want to rob you. I had to pay that extra $400 to avoid storage fees and all.



Bad service, bad experience... Be ware of them!



I am in the process of reporting them to the BBB.
