Great location, right on the water. People are super friendly and know what they're doing. Prices are good. Great selection of kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboards and Hobie pedal kayaks. Best kayak shop on Long Island.

I went to empire kayak to kayak which I been to many times over the years. I was humiliated by a staff member or owner and told after I register to kayak for the day he said I can't kayak today I was escorted off the property by this member he told me he not like my attitude from the past and I don 't listens to his suggestions. What suggestions I wonder. Lot me tell you how bad I felt. I felt like criminal I was embarrass insulted. It was so rude to do this to me or any customer. I will never rent from empire kayak or tell people about this place again. Advised to people save the rental money buy your own kayak. Let me make it clear I always follow the advice of professionals respect the water.
